2023 has been a great year for Colliers Pittsburgh: from welcoming new members to the team, participating in memorable office outings and events, to securing significant transactions, we’ve been busy!
In expansion news, Nandita Mahesh and Connor Durko joined our marketing team. Alongside existing marketing specialist Meg Jansen, this likeminded trio brings a diverse range of talents and personalities, consistently producing engaging and quality deliverables for our brokerage teams.

Our team believes that it is extremely important to maintain a bond behind the scenes and create a vibrant work culture; there is nothing better than hearing a constant stream of enthusiastic “good mornings” from each team member to kick off our days. To support this, we have participated in several office events, significantly strengthening our relationships both inside and outside of the office.
This past year we have taken part in a captivating walking tour of Pittsburgh’s Strip District, supported team member Cody Hunt’s fundraising event for cystic fibrosis, explored the Heinz History Museum, and enjoyed a Pirates game. Additionally, our team volunteered and walked for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s “Out of the Darkness Walk,” attended a NAIOP chapter meeting featuring our very own Bryan McCann as a panelist, and volunteered with the Brother’s Brother Foundation to assemble hygiene kits for their disaster relief efforts.

We are proud to be a part of such a collaborative and fun environment. Whether we are doing 80’s karaoke while creating an assembly line to build hygiene kits, sneaking donuts in backpacks during a walking tour, or regifting office popcorn for our white elephant gift exchange, we make the most of everything this high-paced, hectic industry has to offer.
The success of these events would not be possible without the work of our operations manager Ken Johnson. Ken is an indispensable part of the Pittsburgh office, bringing a positive attitude, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a highly inclusive leadership style to every task he takes on. We are very proud of Ken for being selected as a Values Award winner for the 2023 Spirit of Colliers awards – he truly deserves it!

Additionally, our office would be nothing without our hardworking brokers. While constantly showcasing their determination and professionalism, their lively personalities and energy have created an unbeatable work environment. The following are some noteworthy additions to the Pittsburgh team in 2023:
- Pat Sentner, Executive Vice President | occupier services
- Dan Puntil, Senior Vice President | mortgage
- Megan Jones, Vice President | mortgage
- Matt Reder, Associate | capital markets
- Niko Singh, Associate | Pittsburgh office
Our market leader John Bilyak closed out the year with some insight: “A good friend of mine often uses the line ‘good paddlers like choppy waters.’ 2023 definitively proved that Colliers Pittsburgh is fortunate to have a boat full of good paddlers. We leaned into the challenges of 2023, and as a result, are well positioned going into 2024 with a top line marketing group, a research department that rivals any, and supremely talented brokers, who are also awesome people. We are building something unique to the Pittsburgh market, and I am very much looking forward to the ride,”
We are eager to step into 2024, further striving for excellence, professionalism, and a positive, innovative work culture!
