The 37,720 SF former Big Lots sold for $3.1 million in Q4 of 2023 and was spearheaded by Mark Anderson and Jonathan Levinson from Colliers’ Pittsburgh retail team, alongside Jay Phoebe and Kevin Langholtz from HannaLWE.
Peter Gordon, President of Gordon Real Estate and seller of the property, expressed his enthusiasm for the repurposing of the space, stating, “it is very encouraging to see the transformation of a box store into a facility for a growing distribution company.“
Unlike the typical big box store, Filtech, Inc, the company entering the space, is a filtration equipment and replacement filter element provider, with the area’s largest and most comprehensive inventory. Their services are catered to commercial, industrial, governmental, and institutional clients, as well as contractors in the Western PA and West Virginia areas.
