Discover more about the faces behind our deals! This showcase: Marketing Coordinator Connor Durko.
Connor received his BFA from West Virginia University, where he studied studied Graphic Design. He brings a passion and vast skillset for graphic design, disciplined work ethic, and strong organizational skills to our Pittsburgh office.

What initially drew you to a career in the commercial real estate world/how did you end up at Colliers?
I’ve always been a design-oriented person, and after earning my degree, I developed a strong appreciation for blending creativity with purpose. During my interview for the Marketing Coordinator role at Colliers, I was immediately drawn to the office’s vibrant location and the welcoming nature of the team. What truly stood out, though, was Colliers’ respect for the history of the buildings our brokers bring to market—a perfect mix of design, legacy, and innovation. I’m excited to contribute to a company that values both creativity and history.
Can you share a memorable deal or project and why it stands out to you?
My most memorable project is my first assignment here, which was for a portfolio in my old college town of Morgantown, WV. I knew some of the properties instantly and even had friends who lived there. I was so nervous about meeting the deadline that I came in an hour early that week, determined to get everything just right.
What practices have you adopted to better your work ethic/success in CRE throughout your career?
To improve my work ethic and success, I’ve focused on three key practices: time management, collaboration, and flexibility. Staying organized and prioritizing tasks ensures I meet deadlines without sacrificing quality. I also rely on collaboration—whether it’s asking for help or seeking more details from team members, it always leads to better outcomes. Finally, being open to feedback and adapting to client needs has been essential. I’ve learned that criticism is part of the process, and the goal is always to deliver a product that exceeds the client’s expectations.
Outside of work, do you have any hobbies or interests that complement or enhance your professional life?
Outside of work, I’m a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, and I love watching and attending games throughout the year. Whether it’s football, baseball, basketball, or hockey, I enjoy being part of the excitement and energy that comes with being a fan. I also stay active with hobbies like golfing, skiing, and weightlifting, which help me maintain focus and balance in both my personal and professional life. In my downtime, I enjoy the occasional video game to relax and recharge.
