Diron received his BA from Mount Aloysius College, where he studied Psychology. He brings an innovative, people-centric mindset to the Pittsburgh office, and we’re very glad to have him on our team.
Can you share a memorable deal or project and why it stands out to you?
A memorable deal for me was a property in the South Side that had been stagnant on the market for over a year. The seller, frustrated and considering changing brokerages, allowed me the opportunity to step in with a fresh approach. It took over six months of persistent meetings, calls, and emails to win over a very challenging landlord. I relied heavily on strategic thinking and creative problem-solving to reposition the property and demonstrate added value. Once secured, the property sold within six months. This deal stands out because it reinforced how perseverance, coupled with innovative solutions, can deliver results even in the most challenging circumstances.
Outside of work, do you have any hobbies or interests that complement or enhance your professional life?
I enjoy playing soccer, reading, and constantly learning new skills. Coaching soccer, in particular, has been especially rewarding for me. It’s an opportunity to impact younger athletes, teaching them teamwork, discipline, and resilience, values that seamlessly translate into my professional life in real estate. These experiences keep me grounded and continue to shape my leadership and problem-solving approach.
What do you find most rewarding about working at Colliers/in CRE?
What I find most rewarding about working at Colliers is the collaborative and supportive environment. Being surrounded by talented professionals who are always willing to provide guidance, share insights, and work together toward a common goal fosters a culture where success feels shared. This environment not only enables me to excel but also gives me the opportunity to offer leadership and support to others, ensuring everyone has the tools and resources needed to thrive. In commercial real estate, seeing clients succeed and helping bring transformative projects to life makes the work truly fulfilling.
