And just like that, another eventful year full of highs for the books. 2024 was a standout year for Colliers’ Pittsburgh office full of growth, success, and an ongoing vibrant spirit. From welcoming new members to securing major deals, we’ve had many reasons to celebrate. Take a look back at some of our most memorable moments!
Introducing the 2024 additions to the Pittsburgh team:

Meriel, Diron, and Jeff are invaluable members of our group, and we’ve been so excited to have them on board!
This year, our branch managed to lease an impressive 1,326,239 square feet space and completed a variety of sales transactions that resulted in a cumulative 240,124,897 square feet. These milestone figures reflect our commitment to delivering the best results for our clients, prioritizing and accommodating every business’ individual needs throughout the process.
Outside of securing deals, we also invest heavily — pun intended — in our company culture. Between routine morning coffee runs, Flip Flop Friday (regardless of the weather), game nights, and questioning daily why our office is so cold, we truly enjoy experiencing it all together. From hosting our 3rd Annual Multifamily Symposium to riding coasters at Kennywood, jumping in (literally) at the Special Olympics’ PA Polar Plunge fundraiser to group touring downtown’s finest skyscrapers, our office has had a blast experiencing, supporting, and enjoying Pittsburgh all throughout 2024.

We’re proud to represent Pittsburgh and work hard to help facilitate opportunities for businesses, organizations, and individuals within our communities. Those opportunities wouldn’t be possible without a team that’s dedicated to each other’s success, ethic, and wellbeing – and we couldn’t be more grateful to work in a collaborative, like-minded environment.
We are especially proud of Ed Lawrence and Meg Jansen for winning 2024 Spirit of Colliers awards!

Ed and Meg’s contributions to Colliers are extremely valued—their attention to detail, genuine passion for the work, and dedication are much appreciated and do not go unnoticed!
Ed Lawrence has been notably instrumental in positioning our firm as a knowledge leader within the industry, working alongside Operations Manager Ken Johnson and Marketing Specialist Meg Jansen to secure several notable interviews for our quarterly reports over the years. We’re pleased to provide a platform for these key industry conversations, which bring insight, context, and personability into discussions around Pittsburgh’s CRE sector. Thank you for keeping up with us throughout 2024! We’re excited to see where 2025 takes us, and are thrilled with the accomplishments our crew made throughout the last year; our market leader John Bilyak perhaps sums the year up best:
“2024 has been our proof-of-concept year. The efforts that went into building our internal systems and processes throughout 2022/23 and then subsequently surrounding that infrastructure with talented and collaborative people has resulted in a banner year for the Colliers Pittsburgh office. That success is readily measurable based upon the high-water mark in our revenue, which is great! Perhaps more meaningful, and certainly more indicative of the long-term forecast for the office, that high water mark was achieved through many individual success stories, a significant share coming from our young brokers. Collectively this resulted in our overall success this year but more importantly…it is a great sign of things to come!”
From the Pittsburgh office to you, one last time until 2026, Happy New Year!
