Post-recession job rankings rule in favor of Texas and Pittsburgh

Post-recession job rankings have ruled in favor of both Texas and Pittsburgh.  The Business Journals recently reported Pittsburgh has added 10,500 private-sector jobs since early 2008, putting it with Houston (up 49,500) and Austin (up 29,600) in the exclusive club of major markets with four-year gains of 10,000 jobs or more.

“These statistics prove what we already know, Pittsburgh is a phenomenal place to conduct business,” said Patrick Sentner SIOR, Founding Principal at Colliers International | Pittsburgh.

“Certainly this type of job growth, along with continued growth in real GDP, and increases in corporate profits, will drive the U.S. recovery from the 2008 financial disasters,” added Gregg Broujos, Managing Director and Founding Principal at Colliers International | Pittsburgh.
