Gateway Center Approaches Record Level Occupancy
Hertz Investment Group and Colliers International | Pittsburgh are proud to announce the recent signing of a new lease agreement with long-standing regional law firm, Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch LLC to newly renovated space at Three Gateway Center.
“Hertz and Gateway understood ours is a client service business,” said Managing Director Lee Keevican. “Their space plan advances our business plan, providing high value service to clients at competitive prices,” he added. “Our boutique investment bank, Renaissance Partners, LLC, will share the new space, as it continues to serve the capital markets needs of regionally-based companies,” said Keevican.
Keevican Weiss was attracted to Gateway Center based upon its abundant on-site parking (800 spaces) and various amenities to include Eddie Merlot’s Restaurant and the Gateway Café. Keevican Weiss was represented in the transaction by Dick Cassetti of Grant Street Associates.
With the signing of Keevican Weiss, Gateway Center is now approaching a record occupancy level for the overall complex of 90%.

Colliers International | Pittsburgh Announces the Gateway Center Complex’s Leasing Activity

Pittsburgh, PA, October 16, 2013 – Colliers International | Pittsburgh is pleased to announce that leases have been signed with six new tenants in the past five months at the Gateway Center Complex. The new tenants include Pittsburgh Human Resources Association, LM Machinery & Equipment, Ohio Security Systems, DH Marketing, Beth Bliss, Psy.D. and Arts Education Collaborative.

The Gateway Center Complex, located in the heart of the Central Business District in downtown Pittsburgh, offers suites ranging from 200 SF to 20,166 SF in four office buildings.

Hertz Investment Group & Colliers International | Pittsburgh hosted an Open House to promote leasing opportunities at the Gateway Center Complex on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, on the seventeenth floor of One Gateway Center. Approximately 40 brokers from the Western Pennsylvania commercial real estate brokerage community attended the event.

Architect DRS, one of the original tenants of Gateway Center, who remains a tenant to this day, has been appointed for the design renovations to 444 Liberty Avenue’s first floor and lower level lobbies, that will be keeping with the original design, but with modern enhancements to include a new ceiling, set of entry doors and new lighting, slated to be completed in the first quarter of 2012. Also slated for completion in March 2012 is The North Shore Connector and opening of the new Gateway Center Subway Station.
